Join us for our Halloween Romp Play Date at Carol & Bob Vinnacombes Place, 12790 SE Bluff Road, Sandy, OR 97055. This year’s Romp is dedicated to Batman, a very special, special-needs long-term foster who turns 4 on October 21st and has lived with the Vinnacombes since he was a pup. He was injured shortly after birth and has had orthopedic problems since then. Batman has recently been diagnosed with debilitating rheumatoid arthritis. Steroid medication has enabled him to be able to move around better, but he faces a hard road ahead.

• This year’s Halloween Romp is real family affair, with games and prizes for kids.

• Starting at 2:30, there are costume contests with prizes for the hounds as well as dogs and their owners/families. We will also have contests for the dogs only, including bobbing for hot dogs, longest tails (male and female dogs measured separately), youngest greyhound and oldest hound.

• Food and hot drinks will be available.

• Bring your dog’s muzzle for the play area. Water will be provided.

• Let your greys run in a safe fenced area, before and after the costume events - it isn’t safe for them to wear their costumes in the play area as they run around.

• Entry Fee is $15 per dog and includes food/drinks, though donations are always accepted.

• Nail trims available for $10.

• The winner of the Batman Raffle, which begins on Oct 21, will be chosen by one of the children and announced (winner doesn’t have to be present at the Romp)
